The Strand Tauranga Jetty (opposite Starbucks)

Our private chartered group cruises leave from The Strand Jetty, Tauranga.

Bookings are recommended, especially during weekends, school holidays, and summer months when cruises can fill up fast.

Our standard Harbour Cruise is approximately 1 hour, giving you plenty of time to relax, explore, and take in the sights.

You’ll cruise close to the statue of Tangaroa Māori god of the sea. Experience the breathtaking view of Mauo (Mount Maunganui) from the harbour, Matakana Island, and the beautiful inner harbour, with chances to spot wildlife, unspoilt beaches. A close up look at ships and our port of Tauranga infrastructure.

Yes! We have a fully licensed bar with a range of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, but no BYO alcohol is allowed.

Absolutely. Kewpie Cruises is a family-friendly activity, and kids love being on the water. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

We cruise in most weather conditions, but if the weather makes it unsafe, we'll cancel and offer you a full refund or reschedule. We'll contact you on the day if there are any changes.

Bring sunscreen, a jacket, your togs if you wish to disembark on Matakana and your camera! And of course, your sense of adventure.
