Captiain's Choice Spit Roast Meal - $35 per person
Hors d'oeuvres (choose three):
- Smoked salmon mousse canapes
- Deep fried wontons and mini spring rolls - served with sweet and sour sauce
- Sushi rolls (assortment) - served with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce
- Chines honey-glazed chicken nibbles
- Garlic and cheese bundle - cheese with chopped parsley, seasoned with garlic and black pepper, wrapped in filo pastry
- Baby vol au vent - filled with salmon mousse and avocado
Mains
- Four different spit roasted meats:
- Pork with crackling and apple sauce
- Lamb with rosemary and mint sauce
- Beef with horseradish/mustard sauce
- Chicken with a rich tasty gravy
Served with hot gourmet potatoes tossed in parsley butter, sliced and buttered french bread served with a rich tasty gravy and all of the salads selection
Salads
- Tossed lettuce
- Lettuce garnished with a selection of fresh garden vegetables
- Italian Pasta - pasta, diced salami, pepper, tomatoes, olives, spring onion with Italian dressing
- Beetroot Vinaigrette - cooked beetroot tossed in vinaigrette and seasoned with lemon and freshly ground pepper
- Hawaiian pasta - spiral pasta with ham and pineapple
- Rice Salad - long grain rice, sultanas, pineapple, corn kennels, diced green and red capsicums
- Potato Salad - diced potatoes, grated carrots, sliced celery, capsicum, mayonnaise and fresh parsley
- Surimi Salad - Surimi crab meat with a delicious seafood dressing
- Curried Egg Salad - sliced egg, spring onion and parsley in a piquant curried mayonnaise dressing
In the winter salads are replaced with
- Cauliflower mornay
- Minted garden peas
- Honey glazed carrots
